I'm an artist so anywhere I can paint I will paint it. I mean places that I'm allowed too. I once painted Darth Vader on my bedroom door with my twin sister. By doing so, we were scolded, badly. Well beyond bad, we were labelled as a Devil worshipper. Lol. That is what you get when you have a relgious mother. Sometimes its hard cuz sometimes the stuff that we draw which are mostly impossible at first but we somehow managed to do it but its not gonna be appreciated by our parents. We have a gift. We are not creating our character, we just copy, illustrate it back and portrait. Is it wrong?
Well now I have a new passion in drawing too. or painting to be exact. Painting nails. which I can do only once a month cuz of lady business. That is the only time I'm allowed to paint my nails. Well not when my mom is here though. But still, its fun. So many designs to do. I love doing my nails. At first I suck sooo badly. Like serious bad. It was ugly. HAHAHA. But later, I learned nail arts online and look at pics and thats where got mah ideas. So tommorow I have an event at my college. The themes is Retro. Vintage I guess. So I'm painted my nails a bit vintage-ish. hehe. Hope you guys like it!
So this is my design. I look up some vintage design online so this is what I've come up with. Yeah, the stripes are ugly. HAHA. Need to improve moreeee. It look so much nicer in real life rather than in pictures cuz I dont realy have the nicest phone camera. Lol.
Well this is bassically without the ribbon. still the same. Doing nails is fun cuz they too have acessories for them like gems and ribbons. Sometimes They can go very excessive acessories on them. I have no idea how they gonna do stuff with such pretty nails.
Basically this is how I do it. Always do the first step which is putting the base coat. To protect your nails. Sometimes the nail polish colour stuck on your nails. And hard to peel or wipe it off. I had it once with the colour black. Such a torture.

Step 1: Before I add any base coat or anything,I trimm my nails and shape my nails into almond shape but some of them turned into oval shape because some of them are a bit shorter than the others. After shaping it into my ideal shape I apply the colours I want for the base colour. You may choose other colours. Get creative! Dont just stick to one colour! And wait for it to dry.
Step 2: After they're dried, I used Red colour for the cherries. I used the back of a brush to make the dots because my tools seems to hide from me, lol. Well, you can use anything to do the dots. you can also use bobby pins. The front one. But you have to control the amount of colour you dapped cuz u dont want the dots to be too big. After doing the dots, you can use a tiny brush to draw the stem. just a small line. and leave them to dry.
Step 3: I use white and drew the stripes. Yes its not really pretty cuz I was watching a movie so I'm not really concentrating on my nails much. Well, this is for fun. And I just bought the silver colour. It have realy thin brush so its nice to draw straight lines.
Step 4: Do the Polkas on the turqoise! I love my new colours. This basiccaly the combination of new colours I've just bought so I'm just excited to use them. And after all off it dry much, You can apply the topcoat. For base and topcoat I use the same nail polish cuz they work both ways very well. And after that you can any acessories you want. But put them where it match well. You can put gems or ribbons. So I put ribbons. I'm gonna have a hard time sleeping tonight. -sigh-
Heres some tips, I'm a very clumsy girl so my nails are mostly done thickly because somehow they will get smudge or I can somehow hit something. So if you are like me, you can dry your nails quickly by using ice water.
Or you can use hairdryer. Or a small pump. Its gonna take a while. But I prefer Ice Water cuz its easier. You just have to stand the coldness though.
